"Listen to your BODY"

Listening to your body seems to be a reoccurring statement preached by many health and fitness inspos.
But what does it mean? How do I truly "Listen to my body"?
Join my table as I explain what listening to your body means to me & how connect yourself holistically.

In able to listen to what your body is telling you, you first need to establish a healthy relationship between your mind, body & soul. It may sound cliche, however your mind, body & soul need to be connected & on the same playing field. Many people have such a disconnect between these three things & that is what decreases progress, and can make you feel like you're always looking to others for answers.
To connect your mind, body & soul, you need to find things that give you those little butterflies or things that you purely enjoy to do or participate in. Personally what feeds my soul is journaling thoughts, ideas & writing what I need to get done. I also love reading books that further educate me in things I have an interest in, for instance books about health, nutrition, faith & life as a whole. Cooking also fills my heart (& stomach) with happiness, in thought of what I am putting in my body & how I am nourishing & replenishing it of micro & macro nutrients.
These things may be different for you, but my point is to surround yourself with things YOU purely enjoy and have a passion towards, therefore that will attract others of the same interests and values.
Many people believe the body is the most important of the three, however, your body is your TEMPLE. Meaning what makes up your body & its appearance directly ties to the health of your mind & soul.
Feeding your mind with positivity & gratitude, filling your soul with laughter & love.
All in all, if your body is thinking about sweets, give it sweet! Make nice cream with cacao & almond milk instead of processed chocolate and cows milk. Same to say about carbs, craving pasta or chips? Make zucchini noodles or homemade sweet potato Gnocchi/ Pasta. Chips? Make kale chips or sweet potato chips. ANYTHING! You can have all the joys in life with natural, nutritious food, all it takes is a little work on your end & soon enough your palate will crave nutrient dense foods. No longer wanting fast food or processed food. Trust me, you CAN sincerely love whole & healthful foods.

You may think making these alternatives is a waste of time, or might not even have the time. However if you're truly passionate about something, you will make time for it. Plus its so fun to make your own food from home & know exactly whats in it! You will soon start to play around with flavors and foods that you LOVE.
